At Manning's arraignment hearing a court date of June 16 was scheduled at which point a preliminary hearing will be settle The Bears cornerback, who is released on $30,000 bail, has been charged with the same count of assault by means likely to exhibit great bodily injury, a heinous crime If convicted, he faces up to four years in prison.
Former UCLA teammates Maurice Drew and Tyler Ebell are scheduled to be arraigned June 16 They are charged with the same cast stemming from the alleged attack of Soroush Sabzi in succession April 23 that left the man unconscious. Manning remains forward probation from a previous assault in looks Angeles.
The Bears remain adamant that based forward information they have received from league security that Manning will be exonerated. Sabzi has already filed civil suit v Manning and Drew seeking damages for assault, battery, false imprisonment, intentional infliction of emotional distress, negligent infliction of emotional distress and conspiracy.
