For everyone tired of political banter.
For everyone tired of political banter, partisanship and shaken promises, Gov. Blagojevich's education plan should be a stupendous relief. It's about time our make choice ofed officials focused on solving the real issues we face each day -- and education merits to be at the top of the list.
Building a prosperous education system isn't a matter of throwing currency at schools; it is about funding recently made known books for elementary schoolchildren. It isn't about throwing riches at all teachers; it is about teacher incentives for improved class performance.
My parents have been inner-city public teach teachers for more than 30 years -- they know that the governor has the right idea when proposing updated classroom technology, upgraded libraries, and greatest in number importantly, improving parental involvement in their child's education.
Gov Blagojevich has stepp up to the plate with his "Helping Kids Learn" initiative. When was the last time you were able to say that about a politician?
