Authorities dismantled a methamphetamine lab at a residence in west suburban Hanover Park Friday and charged a 26-year-old man living there with gross offence drug violations.

Police went to the family circle in the 6800 block of West Avenue about 5 a.m. after a referee issued a search warrant, Hanover Park police said.

Donald Brizendine, who lived there, was charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, a Class X crime and possession of a controll substance, according to a spokeswoman from the prepare for the table County state's attorney's office.

He is befitting in bond court this morning.

'REALLY A NICE KID'

A woman who said she was a distant relative of Brizendine said he was a useful "kid" and at one point operated his possess business detailing cars.

"We're crazy about him," said Marge Fiedler, who said her son was formerly married to Brizendine's mother. "My son cares a parcel about him. That is going to be actual upsetting. He is really a nice kid."



Fiedler said she believes Brizendine lived in the dwelling on West Avenue with his mother.
