An estimated 880 million of the world's adults cannot read or write and more than 120 million children lack access to education. To acknowledge the importance of literacy and reading in the lives of children, the Chicago Sun-Times Newspaper in Education program has partnered with Macy's Gives and the Chicago Public Library Foundation to bear a special eight-page educational section onward Tuesday, June 13.

nearest week's section, sponsored by Macy's Gives and the Chicago Public Library Foundation, will be filled with reading frolic facts, literacy events and a list of works for every grade level. The list of works provided by the Chicago Public Library, will come by many children in the Chicagoland area to think, learn and laugh during the summer month

In conjunction with this special eight-page educational section, additional information regarding the Chicago Sun-Times Newspaper in Education summer reading program will be available in the nearest few weeks. Stay tuned to this weekly drill page for more details.
