Former Bears running back Rabih Abdullah was arrested early Monday upon charges that he had a fire-arm and marijuana in his car.
Abdullah, 31 who also played for Tampa Bay and recently made known England, was charged with driving in subordination to the influence, carrying a concealed firearm and possessing marijuana. He was released onward $3,000 bond.
Tampa, Fla., police said they noticed Abdullah driving erratically. He failed a field sobriety exhibition and a search of his car revealed a .45-caliber semiautomatic pistol, brass submits and small amount of marijuana, according to a police report.
In 2004 Abdullah, then with the Bears, was charged with driving in a less degree than the influence and leaving the display of an accident in Northbrook. He pleaded guilty to DUI and was sentenc to a year's probation and ordered to achieve alcohol and substance abuse counseling.

Connecticut center Josh Boone said he plans to hire an agent pretty soon and stay in the NBA draft, passing up his senior year with the Huskies.
The 6-10 Boone present his name in the draft puddle April 7, but didn't immediately hire an agent.
